Whether you are just starting, need a refresher course or would like to have a guided experience free of stress you will be satisfied with your outing. Each course can be taught and tailored to your specific needs, focusing on your weaknesses to make you an overall stronger climber.

Your Guide

Cost Per Day for all Ice Climbing Courses

  • 1 Person $575 per person

  • 2 People $675 or $337.50 per person

  • 3 People $775 or $259 per person

  • 4 People $875 or $218.75 per person

  • 5 People $975 or $195 per person

  • 6 People $1075 or $180 per person

*Please add 5% sales tax to the above amounts.
*There may be additional expenses such as food, gear rental, park fees, transportation or accommodation.
*Full-day and multi-day trips available.

Guiding Ratios
Larger more complex objectives are often guided 1:1, while smaller less technical objectives may be guided at a higher ratio. For mountaineering trips with minimal technical terrain, larger groups can be accommodated. Get in touch with us to discuss your options.


Intro to Ice Course

1 day course, 6 people maximum

  • Learn about the required equipment needed for ice climbing such as ice tools, crampons, harnesses, helmets

  • Learn the basics of climbing movement on ice and how to avoid the dreaded arm pump by swinging your tools efficiently

  • Learn the required safety used for using top rope belays and lowers

Advanced Ice Climbing

2 day course, 4 people maximum

  • Bring your ice climbing technique to the next level by practicing with a certified guide

  • Practice efficient climbing movement and learn how to find rests

  • Learn how to place protection and build top rope anchors

  • Learn to read the ice and all of its ever changing qualities such as dinner plating, mushrooms and chandaliers

Learn to Lead Climb

2 day course, 4 people maximum

  • This course is for the aspiring climber that is ready to take steps towards lead climbing

  • Learn the skills to read the ice

  • Find rests and restful spots to place protection

  • How to assess adequate protection and avoid ground falls

  • Mental strategies

  • Equipment overview

  • Choosing an appropriate route with appropriate avalanche hazard

  • Coaching and assessment

  • Video footage for your later viewing


Intro to Mixed Climbing

  • Proper footwork with crampons on rock

  • Hazard avoidance of hanging ice and falling tools
