Jesse Bouliane

Alpine Odyssey Owner/ACMG Guide

Jesse is your guide with Alpine Odyssey – in the winter for multi and single pitch ice climbing and in the summer for rock and alpine climbing in the Bugaboos and the Rockies. Jesse also works with the Canadian Military Search and Rescue teaching ice climbing technique and rescue skills, and at the College of the Rockies teaching their rock, ice and alpine guiding program.

Jesse Bouliane grew up in the Kootenays near Rossland BC. He was introduced to mountain travel early on in his life hiking, scrambling and eventually rock climbing and skiing in the West Kootenays. After taking a two-day ice climbing course in Canmore, Alberta he dropped everything to embrace the sport of frozen waterfall climbing and alpine climbing in the Canadian Rockies. Jesse enjoys all things climbing wether it is sport climbing, traditional climbing, ice climbing or alpinism. Twenty-five years later he has since traveled to many international climbing destinations including Alaska, Argentina, Chamonix, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Greece and throughout the USA for all of its excellent crack climbing.
